Time: 10 hours
Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, and my pencils (original sketch)
I think this is maybe my 3rd time using Photoshop and my second time using Illustrator. I had a lot of fun blending the colors together, it worked out really well.

She's very cute 
Her pose looks awkward and unbalanced though. Because her head is so big, she looks unbalanced physically and visually. It looks like her head is dragging the rest of her body down. Be careful of that in chibi/SD style character art.
Also, the large head blocks the arms and hammer, so I couldn't tell what she was doing at first. Pick poses that are clear and readable. Not ever viewer will have the patience to sit there for several minutes and interpret what's going on. Clarity of intent is very important!
For the coloring, I feel that this picture would be stronger with a more defined light source and perhaps more secondary colors to accent the main colors. Perhaps, some more violets thrown with the main colors, or whatever other colors suit the mood you're going for in your picture.
